Cinque Ports Scribes was formed in 1992 to cater for those who have a practical interest in Calligraphy, Lettering, and Illumination.
We run one day workshops in Hastingleigh on calligraphy and associated skills with a mix of internal and external tutors including some of the very best known calligraphers.
We also occasionally hold two or three day workshops, covering a wide range of calligraphic and related topics.
We have exhibited at many locations throughout Kent, and in both 2005 and 2017 we hosted the CLAS Regional Day.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Calligraphy and the Lettering arts, particularly those living in Kent and the South East.
Standard membership fee for new and rejoining members £20.
The membership form is available on the downloads page.
